If that title confused you, don't worry - you’re probably just not a teenager and got the same quizzical look that I did when I heard this phrase. According to urban diction, the sentence ‘Noodelist is fire’ apparently means Noodelist is amazing in modern teen slang. The more you know.

Sometimes products are received in unanticipated ways, which is why I was positively surprised to repeatedly hear customer feedback about Noodelist from happy parents whose teens were using Noodelist to cook dinner for themselves and friends. 

I think noodles are for everyone, but at the risk of dating myself, I have not been a teen in a while, so I reached out to a few to ask for more insight. Turns out that teenagers are raiding the pantry and Survival Boxes to prepare Noodelist for themselves mainly when hungry after school, while studying, after sports practice, and also with friends as a cool replacement for the sleepover staple of pizza.

16 year old Olivia who lives in the San Francisco area says, “I started cooking with Noodelist when having friends over. I like to do a stir-fry with Noodelist based on what ingredients my friends say they like. We cook together and it’s fun.”

Another teen named Kira said, “Sometimes my mom is busy with work during the week, and I’m too hungry to wait for dinner. Having Noodelist makes it easy to create a meal quickly for her, my sister and myself.”

Beyond teenagers, it turns out that college kids are also fans, although their parents are the ones ordering noodles for them in care packages. A mom named Anu in San Francisco has shipped multiple boxes to her daughter at college. “I know when my daughter is studying hard, that having Noodelist on hand - is something that she not only likes but is good for her - which really feeds both her body and mind at a high pressure time. I make it easy for her to choose something nourishing and satisfying.”

I’m thrilled that Noodelist is approved by teens and college students. I hope to learn more about how teens and college students enjoy Noodelist with their friends.
